Program Objectives
The objective of this FDP program aims to assist faculty/researchers to analyze, quantify, and optimize financial decisions within a modern research setting. Topic consists of an introduction to measure theoretic probability theory, basic stochastic analysis, mathematical modeling, Stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs), financial mathematics and its related computational techniques. These topics help Faculty/researcher to apply these mathematical concepts in different financial contexts to keep pace with research advancements in academia and the industry in these fast-emerging fields. By employing mathematical models, stochastic analysis, and computational techniques, financial professionals can gain valuable insights into market behavior, risk management, asset pricing, and portfolio optimization including profitability and growth potential.

The School of Advanced Sciences (SAS) at VIT-AP University comprises of Departments of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
